Bronx, NY - TBS cable is featuring the song "Sex in New York City" by Afroditee as background music in their on-air promo campaign to introduce it's re-runs of the HBO series of "Sex and the City" which airs weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 10 PM EST. The promo is comprised of a stylish montage of clips from the popular series starring Sarah Jessica Parker. Listen for the spot with the dynamite horn lines.

Afroditee, an all women15-piece band creates a new sound by mixing the sizzling sound of dance, salsa, merengue and hip-hop. Many of the members of Afroditee are members of ¡Retumba! (Resound!), an all women multi-cultural dance and percussion ensemble which is very established in the folkloric and arts circles in the U.S.
