More Than a Concert - An Anthem of Freedom

Pam Fleming: Trumpet & Flugelhorn
Steve Elson: Saxophone, Clarinet & Duduk
Reut Regev: Trombone

The most important "Stand with Ukraine" Event of 2025 in New York

For the first time in over 25 years, two of the most legendary and influential Ukrainian musicians - Oleg Skrypka and Eugene Hütz (Front man and band members of Gogol Bordello) - reunite on stage for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Ukrainian culture, roots and resilience. This historic event is part of Vopli Vidopliassova's 40th Anniversary North American Tour

As pioneers of Ukrainian rock and punk, Vopli Vidopliassova shaped the sound of a nation and inspired generations of artists - including Eugene Hütz. In the '80s VV was Hütz's favorite band, defining his musical path. When he launched Gogol Bordello, their first nig NYC show was opening for Vopli Vidopliassova in the late 90s. Now, decades later, thes two icons reunite, bringing unstoppable energy and Ukrainian spirit to the iconic Sony Hall.

This is not just music - it's a movement. 100% of charity auction proceeds will support Ukraine, providing humanitarian and medical aid through Kraina Mriy Foundation.

Mike Fornatale about the 1970's show: "I decided a few years ago that, starting with 1964 -- the year I started loving music again after walking away from it, while still in kindergarten, during the Fabian/Avalon/Rydell era (something I still haven't forgiven Philadelphia for) -- I was going to assemble a group of stalwart musicians and singers every year and do a show consisting of great songs from the corresponding year. We had a blast with 1964, '65, '66, '67, and '68. I'm going to do this every year for as long as I can still stand up. Hey! I can still stand up!"

This year will be the eleventh presentation of the 9/11 Table of Silence Project performance ritual for peace at Lincoln Center, and streamed live around the world. Since the inaugural performance in 2011, well over 1000 dancers have performed in the Table of Silence Project, and over several hundred thousand people have viewed the live stream across all 50 states and in 129 countries.

The Table of Silence Project represents the common threads of humanity which unite all mankind into a single force with common goals and aspirations regardless of race, culture, or religion. Through this event, we wish to achieve the dual purpose of celebrating and honoring peace and freedom for all people suffering oppression, through listening, a united moment of silence - a call for Peace in our world.
